Senior vice-president of 'National Folk and Duet Song
Academy' Badri Pangeni has caused a sharp discussion as he extended a new
branch of the academy in UK at his own wish. Majority of members in the regular
meeting of academy objected Pangeni's action saying that he has no respect for
the academy. As a result it could not be approved.
They even blamed Pangeni of
selling the institution. Earlier, the meeting had decided to form an authentic
view about the extension of its new branch only after general conference in
September. The controversy aroused as Pangeni opened the new branch without
mutual discussion.
All the 19 members except Shankar B.C. and Huma Gaire
objected Pangeni's decision in Wednesday meeting saying that he is doing a
business. "It's completely wrong to open any branches without the decision
of institution." A member said to
Onlinekhabar. "Pangeni's descision is not an authentic one." He
added.
