Invited as the chief guest for
'Mister and Miss Australia' on Sunday in Sydney actress Priyanka Karki was
roaming around in Kathmandu in her own hustle-bustle about passport even when
the program started there.
Karki was compelled to return
Kathmandu after hours' vexation in Malaysia. She was flying to Sydney attending
a fashion show in Hong Kong through Malaysia.
Karki had to suffer a lot when she
lost her passport coming to Kualalampur from Hong Kong in the Malaysian airlines.
She really had to struggle hard to return Nepal in the lack of passport in
which she was granted visa. From the airport she tried a lot for a temporary
passport through the embassy of Nepal at Kualalampur but she was denied. Even
to return Nepal she must have had 'travel permit' for which she herself had to
apply with her photo in the embassy.
When it was not possible as she didn't get
permission to go out of airport without passport some artists at Kathmandu
reached the door of Foreign Ministry for the help. Ultimately, she could return
Nepal when the authorities of embassy themselves reached to airport with the
travel document.
Talking to our sources Karki said
that she had to bear the difficulties as her bag along with the passport was
stolen. She further said that though she was in an attempt to reach Australia
making a temporary passport she could not succeed because of a Malaysian plane
crash.
But according to our sources things are not as she said. She was
compelled to come back Nepal as there was no possibility of flying Australia.
