One may not easily
believe that it's not a human but a flower in the shape of naked female body
but it is very much true about the flower 'Narilatha' (meaning: a female body)
which blossoms only once in every 20 years.
The creation of god is really very
mysterious and amazing which sometimes amuses us and most of the times leaves
us speechless with its beauty and uniqueness. Naree means woman or girl and
lata means body so literally the name suggests a tree in the shape of a lady.
It is said that these plants are found in the Himalayan region of India and also some other parts of the world like Thiland and Sri-Lanka. Its known as 'Narilata' in India where as in Thailand it is called 'Nareepol', Sri-Lankans call it by the name 'Liyathambara'.
