Finally after the thirteenth day of death the funeral of Dinesh Adhikari 'Chari' is to be performed at Aryaghat on Tuesday.
Culturally the mourning of a deceased one is over after the 13th day of death but the funeral of 'Chari' got delayed due to his family's rejection to receive the body in the excuse that Dinesh is murdered in the custody. The decision to perform last rituals continuing the political and legal fights, was made by the family among his relatives and the leaders of CPN (UML) in Gongabu last Sunday.
Speaking to media CA member from Dhading Constituent area no.1 Dhanbahadur Ghale said that Dinesh's funeral would be performed after the court's initial hearing on Tuesday. Dinesh Adhikari 'Chari' also used to be the ex-vice-president from the same area for CPN (UML).
Other CPN (UML) members of CA including Ghale have been demanding an inquiry commission for the further investigation of the case. Meanwhile Chari's brother Dhruba Adhikari has demanded an instant action against SSP Pushkar Karki, Uttam Karki, DSP Meera Chaudhari, Inspector Kumud Dhungel and the old friend of Chari and ex-lover of Khushbu Oli, Arpan Koirala.
