The notorious gangster
Chari viz. Dinesh Adhikari is shot dead today at Bhimdhunga in Kathmandu in a
police encounter on wednesday. Accused of more than half dozen of murder
attempts, extortion and other illegal activities Chari had been released from
jail due to the political pressure. Chari had been a UML leader form Dhading
for a long time.

Speaking to media SSP Pushkar Karki said,
"We knew it was Chari only when he was shot dead in the exchange of fire,
police was following him as a suspect with arms and weapons in a motorbike."
Karki further said police shot 8 rounds
of fires to Chari in response to his cross fire which pierced his chest and stomach knocking him by the side
of road.
