Very few may have knowledge about the
whatabouts and whereabouts of the popular female folk singer Bishnu Majhi who
has voiced more than 5 thousands songs. It has been more than a decade since
she has not been seen in any public programs.
Neither any recent photos of hers nor any videos can be seen. Many
of her late comers have accumulated lots of fund both inside and outside the
country but Bishnu has't stepped once outside the country. During the recording
of songs she hides herself behind the curtains if we believe a music arranger.
Even
at this age of technological boom she even doesn't have a cell phone with her. People
and the figures who know her personally say that all the reason behind her disappearance
and changes in her life is not other than her husband Sundarmani Adhikari.
A folk
singer by profession Sundarmani and Bishnu were married one and half years ago
in Pokhara after 8 years long living together. When inquired on marriage
Adhikari often loses his temper and doesn't want to speak a single word about
it. He doesn't want to let Bishnu meet and talk with anyone else. If questioned
about them he tries to avoid by saying that time will disclose everything
itself.
