An attractive portrait of national flag was made by more
than 35,000 volunteers this morning at Tundikhel today. The portrait was made
by 'The Human Value for Peace and Prosperity' for establishing a new
Guinness World Records for the largest human flag in the world.
To make the shape of Nepal's
National Flag 35,907 nationals got together carrying the colorful placards in their
hands. The earlier record was set by
Pakistan at the National Hockey Stadium in Lahore gathering 28,957 people. Each
of the volunteers was carrying an 18/25 inches big playcard which as a whole
made a giant national flag of 128 metres wide and 168 metres long.
